Archival Reference Number
Reference Numbers are unique identifiers assigned to every object and archival record in the database. They can be used to retrieve a single, specific record, or to limit search results to a specific facet of the collection.Reference numbers typically start with a three-letter code followed by a number.
Examples include GPO_1971_001_0284 and PRV/0002/003/0002.
To search by reference number, enter the unique reference number (or the first few characters of that number) of your desired item(s) into the search box.
